Portraits

The portrait assignment turned out actually better then I thought they would. I think the first three photos on here were my absolute favorite. This one right below just made me think about a lot of questions. I don't normally like how the main object is in the center but this time I actually like. The background is dark so it brings your eyes right to the object.
Great assignment.

Thanksgiving Extra Credit

This assignment was a lot of fun to shoot. I loved shooting eye level of the tabel set. Also pictures of the pie. I thought taking pictures of the turkey in the oven was very difficult. I was very blurry everytime. But I had a great time shooting pictures of the greatest meal.

Mini Final

I like this photo because the object of the photo filled up the frame so there is not a lot of empty space in the background. This photo is also important to me because my dog just passed away being hit by a car. The photo has a lot of clarity and the background is black so there are no distractions and the focus is the dog.


This assignment was from my halloween extra credit. I thought those photos were probably the best photo assignment i've done. This photo is interesting because you can't tell where or why the person is running behind the tombstone. I like this photo because I like how the tombstone is the brightest part oh the frame.


This photo is very interesting because the main focus in the photo is not in the center, it is off the the left side. The darkness of the chicken brings out the object. the lightness of background gives the object ways to stand out. If I were to change this I would some how get rid of the rock in the background.


I like this photo because it is very simple. There is not a lot of distractions in the background so it focuses on the black mailbox and the number 89.


This photo was extra credit for Halloween. I really liked this photo because it had good contrast and blur for being ghosts. I like how my brother is behind the grave stone just peaking through. I don't think I would chang much to this photo.

This photo was unique because the back phone had a great reflection from the light sitting on the black background. It had very nice clarity to it. If I were to change this photo i would have changed my IOS to 80. It made my photo cery grainy. It is still a nice photo.

Joe Rosenthal

Joe was a famous photographer during World War II. He was born in Washington on October 9th 1911. He shot very dramatic photographs of the AP during World War II.

On February 23, 1945 while they were on top of Mount Suribachi he took one of the most famous photographs of the war that was called Raising of the Flag on Iwo Jima. Joe had only one chance to take the photo of the Marins putting up the American Flag on Iwo Jima. He was luckily in the right spot and had the right time. People say it was staged or fake because it was such a great photograph. Joe took the most famous photo of the World War II.

On your Belly or Back

There have been better nights than last night. My dog had been hit by a car. My mom was going on a walk with her friend and the dogs would tag along. On their way outside they had remembered they needed to grab the leashes for the dogs. Than went back inside to grab them but forgot they left the door open. My dog knows to not run out into the street. Jenny (my dog) ran out the door down our drive way onto the side of the road. A lady was driving by not paying attention and hit Jenny. My mom had not noticed because she was inside. When she went got the leash and was ready to go on a walk. A lady walked up her and said is that your dog who just got hit? My mom darted down the driveway hoping it wasn't ours. Jenny was laying on the side of the road trying to open her eyes. The lady who hit her didn't bother to stop. It was a hit and run. In at least a minute after my mom ran to her, she was gone. It was very sudden. Jenny didn't suffer she was such a little dog. It was a very hard night for everyone. My brother and I heard the news after school. When my mom picked me up I knew some bad news she had to tell me.

Halloween Extra Credit

This is assignement was probably my favorite. It was a lot of fun to take pictures and making them very haunted. I was very glad I took these pictures.
